THE BODY OF CHRIST
"Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the head, that is, Christ. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” Ephesians 4:15-16
We all come from different walks, we all have different needs.
We all have hurts we’re hiding, and battle insecurities.
We all need an outlet, a loving, listening ear.
We all need someone caring, standing very near.
None of us is perfect, since we walk often in the flesh.
None of us has learned it, since we daily have our tests.
But we all can come together, beating as one heart.
We all can show each other, love to aid the hurting parts.
For Jesus is our Master, the Head from which we flow.
And we’ll grow a little faster, working out salvation as we go.
