Jerry Jenkins spoke about his writing career. He had so many writing opportunities that were over the top. One of them was working with Billy Graham in writing his memoirs. He told of special times during the writing process. It was fun to hear. He talked about writing the Left Behind Series with Time LayHaye. Then he shared his all time favorite fan letter from a little boy. Jerry had the place rolling over in laughter. This little boy told Jerry all the things that were missing from his book for kids. Basically all the animals he didn't write about in the story. Hysterical!
I had met Jerry Jenkins at a book signing last year when his new book. I was thrilled to tell him about the book he write that most affected my life and that was Though None Go with Me. It was interesting to hear from him at the book signing how that book came about.
CONGRATS Jerry Jenkins on your award. THANK YOU for sharing your experiences at the GOLDEN SCROLL AWARDS Banquet. It was great to know that side of you.
