ABOUT BOOK: Get ready to follow Mary and Joseph on their way to Bethlehem. They are in a hurry! Mary is expecting the baby Jesus and they need your help to find many things along the way. This holiday board book is perfect for young children who will love finding the 48 objects hidden on the pages while reading the classic story of Christmas, accurately retold and with scripture references. On your mark, Ready-Set-Find!

REVIEW: I love reading these types of books to my kids and now grandkids. Not only does the message of the story get through to your heart, great memories are made in the process. This book is adorable. The animation in the book is geared toward kids and the people in the story are depicted as if kids were putting on a play about the Christmas story. Loved that.

The story opens up with Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem. Scripture reference is Luke 2:1-5

I liked that there were circular tabs on the side of the book to help the kids (and adults) get to the picture they want to read next or read again. Grin! The first tab has a picture of Mary, the next Joseph, a Donkey, Baby Jesus, and the final one is of a Shephard.

On the right hand side is a picture where you will find the items listed to find. On the left hand side is the story and a picture and text typed under it telling of the item that needs to be searched for. Scripture references are on every page. The last page is of the Wiseman and others coming to give gifts and worship Jesus in the manager.

This book is packed with fun, beautifully colored adorable pictures that tell the story of Christ’s birth. I know this will be my grandkids favorite Christmas book. It’s mind already!
