ABOUT BOOK: Lots of Love celebrates all the ways we show love—from hugs and kisses to sharing and helping others. The sweet rhymes and whimsical artwork in this board book illustrate the special bonds of love between families and friends. Perfect for young children, this book will make you want to snuggle with your little one as you two explore the greatest blessing of all—love!

REVIEW: This is a beautifully illustrated book that is fun to read. The book begins with a little girl waking up in her bed, sun shining through the window of her room. She is grateful for the beaming sun and also for her happy heart. She says, “Good morning, happy heart! I feel your cheerful beat. Today I’m sharing lots of love with everyone I meet.” The first to receive special hugs and love from her is her sweet puppy. The book goes through different people and situations where she can share kindness and hugs.

She starts out receiving special hugs from her mom and puppy that she can share with others. This is a book that has more than one or two words on each page. It would be a good book to show little ones but they won’t have the patience or attention span to have you read every word. Good for ages 4 - 8-year-old who would like you reading all the words. It might help them recognize some sight words for preschoolers and those in kindergarten.

The book ends with the same little girl ending her day in prayer and being thankful for the day she had filled with opportunities to share. I liked the message and the lovely pictures that walk a child through the many different ways to show people you care; shows how to receive love and encouragement from others.
