ABOUT BOOK: Every day I wake up with a happy, thankful heart.
From watching the leaves fall to picking pumpkins from the patch, from sharing a Thanksgiving meal with loved ones to learning how to give—there’s so much to be thankful for! Join these adorable animals as they say a prayer of thanks to God, who gives us every good thing.

REVIEW: This is an adorable colorful board book that will get parents and children looking around them for things they can be thankful for. The book starts out with a sweet young rabbit waking up thankful for the day ahead. The author takes readers on this little one’s day and shows all the things the rabbit and other animals are thankful for. The illustrator uses fall colors throughout the book showing scenes of the seasons changing and leaves falling from trees.

I liked the catchy rhyming style in which this story was written. Here’s a sample paragraph, “I’m thankful I can help someone When I share and give. Showing others kindness is the nicest way to live.”

This is a fun book to read with young ones to help them think of all the things they can be thankful for. It’s a book that can be read preparing for the Thanksgiving season and beyond.
